Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the analysts who is the eyes and ears of the iPhone world, made a bombshell claim about the camera of the new iPhone 16 Pro models, which are expected to be released next year.
Technology analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the leading names in the iPhone world, made new claims about the camera of the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models, which are expected to be released next year.
In the article published by Kuo on the social media platform Medium, it was claimed that the 16 Pro series will use a 5x optical zoom lens, as in the current iPhone 15 Pro Max.
While the analyst pointed out the design difficulties encountered in the 15 Pro Max, he stated that the 16 Pro could make room for this lens thanks to its larger screen. It was stated that the 3x optical zoom, which was limited in the 15 Pro, could be overcome in the 16 Pro.
Kuo, who had previously made claims about the camera of the 16 Pro, noted in his post in May that this change could come to the fore after the 15 Pro Max goes on sale.
However, no official statement has been made from Apple on the subject yet. Experts estimate that the devices will take their place on the shelves in 2024. The authenticity of the claims about the camera can then be tested.
